Peri Peri Spice Blend

This is a mild blend (we made it this way so it was child friendly) You can add your own heat with the addition of dried chilli to your taste.

It is used as a rub or dry marinade generally on chicken, but also tastes good with Lamb.

Peri Peri Spice Blend

Ingredients: Paprika, oregano, ginger, cardamom, dried onion and garlic. salt, cayenne pepper.

Method

Mix 1-2 tablespoons of spice blend with 1-2 tablespoons olive oil and rub into chicken skin.

Then roast in the oven, cook on the BBQ or shallow fry in a frypan...

(Great to use with chicken wings for the children or a finger food option)
